Moving on...

Why is it so hard for some of us to just move on. To not live in the past. To forget what happened and leave it in the past, and move one as a new creation in Him?

This is something I've been pondering. Wondering, and beating my self up about over and over.

Why can't I just move on?
Why do we get stuck in the past?

I'm interested to get opinions. This is something I'm struggling with, and wondering how everyone else deals with this issue. I know I'm not alone.
