Daily

More & more I'm learning again.

God has an amazing way of bringing us into his arms over and over, the very same way.

So often do I feel like the prodigal son, who crawls back willing to be a servant. After I have nothing left. God is always so gracious. God always shows his love.

Today 1 Corinthains 13 has been in the back of mind all day.
I love this chapter. And it also happens to be about love, which secretly (not anymore) I'm a hope{ful} romantic, so it fits my personality just right.

For one full year, I only began to learn a tad bit of what giving love unconditionally was like. I felt like I wasn't recieving anything, I gave all I had. I was wrong, I recieve unconditional love everyday from my heavenly prince. Honestly, he is much better at loving than any boy here. He makes me smile just because He can, and gives me flowers everyday. HE say's "I love you" when I open my eyes, and even when I disrespect Him, he grabs me with his loving arms, and says " I love you anyway". When I'm sad and upset, he holds me still, and lets me cry until I can't anymore. He just sits and waits until I say "I love you" back.

HE is the true example of 1 Corinthians 13.

4 "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears. "

I'm learning. I love learning, and more by more I'm learning Him

11 When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love
. (1Corinthians 13:4-13)

It made me happy to read this. I could have cried reading the verses about love. And it is always encouraging to see someone else embracing God's love. so encouraging.
